Foundation Before Concealer

A lot of people do it the other way around, however, putting on foundation before your concealer might be just the most practical thing to do. It should also give your face a better finish. The basis is simple: foundation is for proper coverage, meaning you cover most of any redness, discoloration or uneven skin tone. You then move on to a concealer which you’d use on smaller spots, such as zits and areas with more redness or acne. 

Spoolie Brushes for Brows

Yes, the mascara wand does more magic than you really know. They come in handy when you do not have much time to spend on your brows. Simply comb the arches of your brows with a spoolie brush and you will see how neat and in-place your brows turn out to look!

Exfoliate You Lips

Using a gentle lip scrub before putting on any lip makeup is always a great idea. There can be dry skin covering your lips almost all the time even though it’s never visible to the eye. This is usually what prevents your lipstick and glosses from going smooth on them. Exfoliation will remove any dead cells and prepare your lips for smooth application. Never Skip Blush

Don’t be surprised, but there are those who choose to skip their blush at times. They may have their own good reasons, however, what you need to know is that a blush, even soft and subtle, should give your face a bright, cheerful glow. Thus, omitting it might just be a really silly thing to do.

Melt Your Pencil Liner  

This might even sound like an old trick. However, in case you didn’t know, your creamy makeup products, such as pencil liners, work so much better when they are warmed up a bit. The pencil liner in particular, can tug and skip while you draw your eye line, which will only give you everything opposite to a smooth finish. Melt your liner under a lighter for a few seconds until just right, and draw your line when it’s cooled off, and you’d see that your eye line just couldn’t get any smoother! 

Revive Your Mascara Like This!

Did you know that mascara that has dried up can be revived with the use of saline solution? This is something you’ve really got to try out, unless, of course, your mascara has expired or has turned bad as a result of non-use. Add a few drops of saline solution to your dry mascara and it should come out smooth again!
